The terroirs, to the south of Bordeaux are renowned for their wine production. Their soils are classed as gravel and produce mostly red wines for Pessac-Leognan and sweet white wines for Sauternes.

On your wine tour, explore the most famous wineries of Medoc dotting the Route des Chateaux or visit more family-oriented wineries.
