The summer of 2024 will be remembered not only as a moment of global sporting celebration, but also as an extraordinary logistical challenge. This historic event, which captured the world’s attention, also represented a major milestone for Chabé. As a key service provider, the Group played an essential role in transporting thousands of people with remarkable precision and efficiency.

Outstanding logistical preparation…

This success is the result of 6 months of intensive preparation. Nearly 2,000 interviews were conducted by a dedicated team of 7 people to select and train chauffeurs capable of meeting the specific needs of this event. Over a period of several days, the 550 chauffeurs recruited benefited from bespoke training provided by our teams, to guarantee an impeccable quality of service.

At the same time, the events team scouted out the various locations to define the best routes between passenger departures and arrivals. Launch meetings were also organised with the various stakeholders.
To meet our clients’ requirements, a team of experts ensured 24/7 availability to deal with requests and unforeseen events in real time, with an optimised response time of 90 minutes.

 

…for a major operation

In this exceptional context, Chabé mobilised considerable resources to ensure the transport of thousands of people across France, in 9 cities (Bordeaux, Châteauroux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Saint-Étienne), including Paris.


In total, over a period of more than 60 days, more than 9,300 services with private chauffeurs were provided,
thanks to a fleet of 900 vehicles, including a record day on which more than 350 chauffeurs were available.

These services were made possible by the mobilisation of 550 professional chauffeurs, supported by a team of over 300 employees from various departments. The scale of this project illustrates Chabé’s ability to orchestrate bespoke transport solutions that meet the most exacting requirements, while pursuing our day-to-day commitments with the same rigour.

A social and environmental commitment

In addition to its operational expertise, Chabé reaffirmed its commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The Group stood out for its strong commitment to inclusion, in particular by recruiting people who are far from employment.
Around 20% of the drivers mobilised for this event were people in rehabilitation, a choice that reflects the company’s values in terms of diversity and inclusion.
Chabé’s commitment to people with reduced mobility was also demonstrated by the adaptation of its fleet. Of the 900 vehicles mobilised for the event, a number were specially designed to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility, ensuring maximum accessibility.

In addition, with a view to reducing the ecological footprint, measures have been taken to optimise journeys and select less polluting vehicles, in line with national environmental objectives.

On 4 and 5 October 2024, the town of Villers-Cotterêts and the Grand Palais hosted a historic event: the Francophonie Summit, organised in France for the first time in 33 years. This major international event brought together heads of state and government and influential figures from the French-speaking world to celebrate the richness of the French language and culture.

Open from 6 AM to midnight every day of the week, this lounge is exclusively reserved for our clients.

PERSONALIZED ASSISTANCE

For arrivals, our coordinators greet you at the end of the platform, take care of your luggage if necessary, and accompany you to the lounge. You then have the option to enjoy the services offered in the lounge or to go directly to your driver.

For departures, our drivers drop you off in front of the lounge, where you will be welcomed by one of our coordinators. You have the option to enjoy the lounge and its services or to be accompanied directly to the station.

Limo+ specialises in the top end of the market serving private individuals, private equity, and financial services firms.
Chabé London already has expertise in these markets but with this new acquisition, Chabé will be able to strengthen its leading position.

John Davies Chabé Professional Driver QSi Awards-2023

London-based chauffeur John Davies, who drives for Chabé, has won the Bronze Award in the Professional Driver of the Year category of the prestigious Professional Driver QSi Awards.

Professional Driver Editor Mark Bursa said: “It says a lot for John Davies that when Chabé was starting operations, he was the first driver to be recruited. He’s become something of a ‘team captain’, for the company, with an air of calm professionalism and trustworthiness that is vital when dealing with senior executives of large corporations. Earlier this year he was diagnosed with cancer, but has now been given the all-clear and is back at work.”

Professional Driver magazine’s QSi Awards ceremony was a night to remember for the cream of Britain’s chauffeur and private hire operators. The awards, open to every chauffeur and private hire company in the UK, are designed to recognise operators and individuals that demonstrate excellent standards of Quality, Service and Innovation.

This award recognizes John as a key pillar of our excellent fully employed paye chauffeur team. Chabé remains one of the few chauffeur businesses in London that retains a fully employed, paye chauffeur team.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were presented in 11 categories at a thrilling event, held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton.

The 11 categories mean there’s something for every size and type of operator, from one-man bands to large fleets. Categories also reward innovations in marketing, environmental performance and local community activities, while a special award – Professional Driver of the Year – singles out a chauffeur or private hire driver who is judged to be the best in the UK.

Mark Bursa said: “The private hire, taxi and chauffeur industry makes an enormous contribution to keeping Britain moving. This year’s Professional Driver QSi Awards recognise those amazing efforts and bring the industry together for a much-needed night of celebration.”

Mark Bursa continued: “This year the QSi Awards celebrated their 10th Birthday. Since 2013 we have awarded more than 300 QSi Awards, and this year we presented our 100th Gold Award. The quality and number of the entries grows every year, and this year it was an especially tough job to pick our winners. Only very good operators made the short list, so we can be sure our Gold, Silver and Bronze winners are among the very best in Britain.
